Your degree is just the beginning of landing the job you want at the salary you desire. Start early to solidify your goals and build your connections in the business world 
What has changed the world of job search?
Technology has had a major impact. Applicant tracking systems have made it extremely difficult to apply online and get called...LinkedIn and Google have made networking the best path to a job.
Do you believe this is a bad job market?
No! Actually, it is a very robust job market.  The issue is not lack of opportunity.  The issue is that the world has changed and most people do not know how to uncover the best opportunities.  
What is the most important skill job seekers must develop?
Strategic networking skills. The only security we have in the world of work is a strong, healthy network.  Every person needs to have a personal networking plan as part of their daily life.
